Cashless Transactions Support Program „Polska Bezgotówkowa" is a collaborative effort among payment service market participants in Poland such as card issuers, acquirers, Visa, Mastercard - as well as the involvement of the Polish Bank Association and support from the Ministry of Development.

The program targets small and medium-sized enterprises that wish to start accepting payments for their goods and services via payment card. It is managed by the Foundation Polska Bezgotówkowa, funded by the Polish Bank Association.

The conditions for entrepreneur to join the program are:

• Signing an agreement for payment card acceptance.
• For at least 12 months prior to signing the agreement, the business has not offered payment services using card-based payment instruments, either in a physical environment or for online payments;
• The entrepreneur does not operate as part of a retail or service network with more than 5 retail, service or similar locations under the same trademark.
• The business owner does not operate within franchise that includes more than 5 locations under the same trademark;
• The company does not operate vending machines or self-service terminals (such as ticket machines, parking meters, ATMs, etc.) in connection with its participation in the Program;

The business receives funding for:

• Leasing a terminal for 12 months from the date of signing the agreement.
• Transaction commission fees (OA) for up to 100,000 PLN per terminal
• No minimum transaction volume required

Each business owner can order up to 3 terminals as part of the program. After 12 months of funding, the pricing terms specified in the contract, which must be at least 12 months long and aligned with the current price list, will apply.
