A unique computer terminal with a ‘light’ and modern design, designed for use at points of sale, self-service counters and information desks.
The ability to install the display in a vertical position is often used at self-service sales counters and information points.
Compatibility with the VESA standard ensures freedom of installation of the terminal using a wide range of mounting accessories available on the market (e.g. Modular Mounting System).
The touchscreen can be operated with a variety of gloves, making the devices suitable for use in dry and wet installation environments.
The product comes with a 24-month warranty.
CAPABLE OF CONTINUOUS OPERATION IN HUMID ENVIRONMENTS
The components used in the terminal are selected for their ability to operate continuously. The LCD panel has been manufactured to an industry standard, where particular emphasis is placed on longevity.
The working area of the screen is a solid glass panel, which effectively protects the front of the terminal from spills. The casing also prevents liquids and dirt from penetrating sensitive areas of the device. The capacitive touchscreen does not wear out and responds effectively to touch in dirty environments.
The passive cooling system does not introduce contaminants from the environment into the housing, so that the 16CL-A can also operate effectively in dusty environments.
FREEDOM OF OPERATION
The touchscreen with increased sensitivity can be operated with non-metallised gloves up to 0.8 mm thick. The terminal, thanks to this functionality, will also respond correctly to touch through double gloved surgical gloves. In tests carried out by Posnet, the screen also correctly detected touch through latex-coated textile work gloves.

DUAL SCREEN LAYOUT
The 16CL-A terminal's widescreen operates at Full HD native resolution (1920 x 1080) and displays the image symmetrically in each direction (170°/170°). The base of the terminal has been designed so that installing the screen in a vertical position does not expose the device to instability.
Thanks to the above features, several people standing in front of the display will be able to see the projected image correctly and the vertical layout of the screen allows a long list of information to be displayed comfortably. These features are very often used at self-service sales counters and information kiosks. If the terminal is installed in a public area, the base can be permanently fixed to the ground.
HIGH COMPUTING POWER
At the heart of the 16CL-A terminal is a quad-core Intel Celeron J4125 processor made using 14nm lithography. The unit represents a successful compromise between performance, low thermal emissions and an attractive price. Compared to other popular processors on the market.
For example: Celeron J4125 is almost three times faster than Celeron J1900, almost 10% faster than Core i3-7100U processors and only 10% less efficient than Core i5-7200U *.
